Honorary Degrees
Honorary Degrees from the University of Calgary are conferred on the authorization of the Senate. The Honours Committee effects the bringing forward of suitable candidates for Senate's consideration.

Anyone may submit a nomination, and completed nomination packages will be accepted at any time of year. The Honours Committee encourages nominations from a variety of sectors. Categories of candidates, criteria and selection process details can be found in the nomination package. Nomination information is available from the Senate Office or can be downloaded using the links below.
All deliberations concerning Honorary Degrees are kept in strict confidence.
